Albus: the beginning
We launched Albus in December and saw incredible reception - top 5 in ProductHunt, 2000+ companies and thousands of people trying it out on Slack and MS Teams
1. Why this, why now
Thanks to OpenAI, AI has become a commodity making it commercially viable to build knowledge base with a chatbot for SMBs. (On a personal note, I’m finally getting to use my Carnegie Mellon Masters in ML)
2. SaaS explosion lead to information in multiple tools
Information is spread across multiple systems - Slack, Google Docs, Notion, Github, Jira - when you want to find something, you end up moving one tool to another and most of the times - you ask someone - hey do you have a minute to help me with this?
3. Conversational
What if you could have a conversation and not just a search so you can talk back and forth to provide more context and have follow up questions.
4. AI Teammate
AI now talks and sounds like a human being thanks to Natural Language so its almost as good as a teammate (and perhaps better?). It’ll understand what you want and get better with time.
5. Microsoft, Google, Facebook
It seems almost every other day there’s a new advancement in AI. All the giants are jumping and releasing new models. We intend to use the best.
What’s next?
We will cover what we are working on, the problems we are facing, how are people using Albus and AI trends relevant to Albus.
