Product Updates: Evaluator, Retry, Dashboard, Home tab and Pricing
Manage your admins, licenses and view all the questions asked. Get better with Prompt tips.
Over the past few days, we went live with LlamaIndex (an open source project that provides a central interface to connect LLM’s with external data). This has opened up new possibilities allowing us to get to market faster.
Evaluator
We now have an evaluator for answers from your wiki. It takes the answer generated with the sources and then does another call to figure whether the answer is correct.
Dashboard
Now add admins to help you manage the connections, add licenses, questions etc
Billing
Manage your licenses and requests in one place. Filter by requests, assigned or unassigned license.
Questions
See all questions asked in one place - filter by AI vs your wiki, date, person. Coming soon will be category.
Home tab
The home tab is now live with prompt tips/ideas
More on this coming next week.
Limits
To protect us from rising OpenAI costs and to build a long term sustainable business, we now have a limit of 50 questions in the free trial and 200 questions per license per month. After you exhaust the 200 limits, you can buy a new pack of 200 questions with no expiry at $4.99.
The assumption is that if you have asked Albus 50 questions then Albus would have shown enough value to move to a paid plan. And on the paid plans, 200 questions is 10 questions a day - thats a lot more valuable than $5 - a coffee? burrito? Happy to hear critique/feedback.
This is our current usage on OpenAI
Misc
OpenAI tends to fail a lot so we added an option to automatically retry up to 3 times before giving up.
Some of you have asked are we indeed using GPT4 as Albus does not say so - we raised the issue with OpenAI but here’s the proof
Before I bid adieu, I would like to personally invite you to our new Albus Community on Slack. Talk to the engineers and designers behind Albus, ask questions and learn more about what you can do with Albus with the community.
